Letybo

Those two vertical lines between your brows have a way of saying things you never meant to say. Tired. Annoyed. Stressed. Even on a great day, they can make your face read more serious than you feel.

Letybo is the newest FDA-approved neurotoxin for exactly those lines, and Rejuvalase is now offering it in Santa Barbara. If you have been curious about neurotoxin already love your current toxin, or simply want to know what the newest option can do, here is what to know.

What is Letybo?

Letybo (letibotulinumtoxinA) is a botulinum toxin type A injectable, in the same family as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, and Daxxify. It was approved by the FDA in 2024 for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe frown lines, the "11s" between the eyebrows.

It is new to the U.S., but not new to the world. Letybo is made by Hugel, a South Korean aesthetics company, and has been a leading neurotoxin in South Korea for years, used in more than 50 countries under the name Botulax. U.S. approval followed three phase III clinical trials with more than 1,000 participants across the United States and Europe.

How it works

Frown lines form because the small muscles between the brows contract over and over, every time you concentrate, squint, or react. Over years, those repeated movements etch lines into the skin.

Letybo is injected directly into those muscles, where it temporarily relaxes their ability to contract. The muscles soften, the skin above them smooths, and the lines become far less noticeable. Your face still moves and still expresses; it simply stops defaulting to a scowl.

What results look like

Most patients begin to see a difference within a few days, with full results settling in over about two weeks. Expect a smoother, more relaxed look between the brows that reads as rested, not frozen.

How long does Letybo last?

Like every neurotoxin, Letybo is temporary. Results typically last a few months, and treatments are spaced at least three months apart, so most patients settle into a regular maintenance rhythm.

Letybo vs. Botox: which is right for you?

Both are botulinum toxin type A, and both are FDA-approved for frown lines. The differences come down to formulation, manufacturing, how your face responds, and personal preference. Units are not interchangeable between brands, so your injector doses Letybo on its own terms rather than converting from another product.

Some patients come to Letybo because they want to try the newest option. Others are curious whether a different formulation suits them better. Your Rejuvalase injector can talk you through your history with other toxins and recommend the best fit, whether that is Letybo, Botox, or Daxxify.

What treatment day looks like

A Letybo appointment is quick. After a brief consultation and assessment of your expression lines, your injector places a few small injections between the brows. The whole process usually takes about 15 minutes, with no downtime, and most patients return to their day right away.

Mild redness or tenderness at the injection sites is possible and usually fades within hours. Your injector will go over aftercare and full safety information before treatment.

Why Santa Barbara patients choose Rejuvalase for injectables

Rejuvalase works alongside the facial plastic surgery practice of Dr. Gregory Keller, a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon and Clinical Professor at UCLA. That same surgical understanding of facial anatomy informs every injectable treatment, and treatments are performed by experienced registered nurses.

Because Rejuvalase offers a full range of neurotoxins, your plan is built around your face and your goals, not around a single product.
